Through the direct testimony of the Indians, the phenomenon of acculturation suffered by the Otomí minority of the Mezquital Valley, one of the poorest rural areas of the state of Hidalgo, in Mexico, is analyzed. It tries to show a broader problem that encompasses a large part of the Continent; how other peoples, other ethnic groups, are exterminated with all kinds of mechanisms, from brutal repression to the most sophisticated cultural penetration.

Poet-filmmaker Jørgen Leth taps his own earliest inspirational veins by free-floating through a camera/microscope-enhanced set of poems with love as their first and final subject. For example, how a tropical island woman prepares for a meeting with her lover. The film was shot partly in the South Pacific with more than a nod to social anthropoliogist B. Malinowski's historical work The Sexual Life of Savages.

Four-part video made in 2003 and 2004. The first two parts were presented at the Venice Biennale of 2003 as part of the Utopia Station project. An open-ended video -- more parts may be added to it in the future -- my thoughts on the idea of utopia. My thoughts on it change as time goes, as I am trying to figure it out for myself, the meaning of it, the practice of it, the possibility of it, in the past, today and in the future.

A Study of Light over Water. The film is an abstract representation of the naturalistic reflection of light on Lake Tune and Canal Saint-Martin.

Matsudaira Tadateru (Shin'ichi Chiba) the sixth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu that was stripped of his title and began life under an assumed name in the Red Light district of Edo. He solves crimes, heals the sick, saves the Geisha from evil Samurai and along the way he teams up with Yagyu Jubei (a role played numerous times by Chiba himself). Awesome Samurai Action.

A film about mortality. We asked friends and family about their relationship with death, a topic we had not openly discussed with them before. A collection of voice notes are woven together with Super 8 footage. Filmed over the course of one month during winter in Berlin.

Margot, a brilliant young scientist with a troubled marriage, disappears inexplicably while hiking with her husband Sam and a group of friends. A few weeks later, she miraculously reappears the day of her own memorial service. Margot is clearly not the same as before the accident. Nevertheless, Sam sees his wife’s miraculous reappearance as a second chance.

Full of archival flavors, the story of an aristocrat cursed by his family, a man of many faces and talents living in turbulent times. Who was August Zamoyski? A lover of female beauty, an athlete, a sculptor, and a citizen of the world who draws full attention from life?

In June and July of 2011 42 year old Ammon and Kait his 22 year old his girlfriend set out to climb the never repeated route of Wings of Steel on Yosemite's El Capitan. Wings sat unclimbed since the first ascent in 1983. Shrouded in controversy and with a bounty waiting for the second ascent team, there seemed to be no better person to climb it than Ammon. But was Kait the best choice for a partner? With over 70 El Cap climbs by 60 different routes Ammon is clearly a seasoned climber. Kait is relatively green to the big walls, having only three El Cap ascents on her resume and all of them with Ammon by her side. This climb would be a test of their ability and their relationship. Logging over 500 feet of falls, a dislocated shoulder, Ammon presses on up the wall. Kait sits anxiously on a portaledge watching the person she loves suffer fall after fall, each fall pulling her petite frame hard into the anchors. On day four stress levels hit a boiling point as the couple began to turn on ...
